What teachers have said about GFT schools events:
'Great film! Very well organised for schools.'
'Excellent resources to follow up the film with, thanks so much'.
'Thanks again for giving schools such a great opportunity!'
'Excellent delivery and organisation - we love coming to GFT!'
'My pupils loved the movies so did we!
'Thank you so much. We are so lucky to have the GFT here in Glasgow.'
'My class absolutely love the film and talked about it a lot when we came back here. I'm really pleased about that because it's not the kind of film that they'd normally go and see. At the GFT alone over the past couple of years they've seen quite a few great films which have helped to expand their taste and appreciation. Keep up the good work!'

Thanks to continued support from our partners we are able to offer selected schools screenings free of charge. We will indicate in our programme and newsletter where this applies.
Learning Resources
GFT Learning has an archive of classroom resources for films previously screened at GFT, especially for foreign language titles.
Our resources include Stella, The Crocodiles, Cowards, Welcome, Jour de Fete, Asterix & Obelix vs Caesar, Michou D'Auber, Scotland in the Past - The Ghost Show Returns, The Chorus, Am Ende Kommen Touristen, The Class among others.
Most of these titles are available to buy on DVD for use in the classroom. Unfortunately, some films will have to be imported from abroad as they have not been released on DVD in the UK. GFT Learning recommends that you try online retailers to buy these titles.
For more details on how to obtain past resources, please contact Paul by emailing info@gft.org.uk or by calling on 0141 352 8613.
GFT draws on a number of partnerships in order to bring quality educational experiences involving film to young people. We hold valued relationships with the Scottish Screen Archive, the Goethe Institut, Alliance Française and Film Education who assist us to provide a diverse programme for schools. In concert with the Glasgow Film Festival, we also offer an exciting and concentrated programme of events for pupils and teachers at the Glasgow Youth Film Festival which embraces the magic of the moving image to educate, motivate and inspire young people and children through film screenings, workshops and special masterclasses.
In addition to all screenings and events detailed in our brochure and online, we can assist with film-related projects taking place within schools and local authorities. We also offer teachers' CPDs dedicated to moving image education.
If you require further information about activities for schools or if you are seeking advice and further information about how to use moving image media in education, the GFT Learning team are happy to help.
