Accessibility

GFT accepts the CEA Card www.ceacard.co.uk

With the exception of the Balcony Bar and Education Room all public areas of the GFT are fully accessible to people using wheelchairs. Please notify Box Office when booking tickets if you require a wheelchair space in the cinema. Toilet facilities for wheelchair users are available on the ground floor. We have a lift to Cinema 1 for customer use. We can offer an infrared sound facility for the hearing-impaired (please ask at Box Office for a head set). Guide dogs are welcome at GFT.

Buying / Booking Tickets

To buy advance tickets for a wheelchair space (and cinema seats alongside, if required) please call our Manager (0141) 352 8601/8603 who will take payment over the phone.

If you can't get through, please do leave a message and we will call you back.

To reserve a wheelchair space or if you have any specific access enquiries please email
tickets(at)gft.org.uk, you can pay for your ticket(s) when you arrive at the cinema.

We apologise but reservations by email are only available for bookings which include a wheelchair space or other access assistance.

GFT Accessible Programme

GFT offers both Audio Description and Descriptive Subtitling on selected titles and selected screenings in Cinema 1 only. Audio Description is a service for partially sighted or blind people (AD headphones are available to collect from Box Office when you pick up your tickets prior to the film screening). Descriptive Subtitling is a service for the hearing-impaired or deaf who rely on subtitling to enable them to follow the film's dialogue.
